We hear time and time again this is unfair or that is unfair. We see protests and hear words that some people need to change, that there is existence of injustice that shouldn't be. No it shouldn't. Never should have been not in this country. But guess what folks? It's not a perfect world. There is gravity, there is friction, there is pain, and sickness, and sweating and working hard for what seems like nothing. There are people in leadership roles, not just in government but in leadership roles everywhere that don't seem to have a notion of what they are doing and make some pretty unfair decisions. Let's face it, this is called being human. We are all flawed. We make poor decisions. We are unjust. We dislike people and often base our decisions on that dislike. But....and this is big....we have an example of moving on even though there are difficult circumstances. We have Christ. He continued the mission God sent Him on, regardless of the injustice that was dealt Him by the Pharisees and lets face it by a public that demonstrated a now-we-love-you-now-we-don't attitude. He kept healing, He kept teaching, He kept demonstrating the love of God despite the cruelty that He endured.
As should we.
When is enough, enough? When we look at our lives and see injustice. When we see that there are people that are burs in our side, some that would say we don't know what we are doing. Enough is enough folks. Time to grow up. If you claim Christ, don't worry about the injustice that is affecting you...or others. Do your job. Love like God would love. That injustice will always be present. Touch each other's lives in kindness and God-like love and the world will change. You will not change it. God will.
