Ready!!!

Many people are ready. Ready to play. Ready to work. Ready to study. Ready to perform. Ready for bed. Many are getting ready. Getting ready to go to work. Getting ready to write a paper. Getting ready for a performance. Preparing for sleep. Many car advertisements tell us its wise to winterize and get ready for the winter or summarize and get ready for the summer. Do we really know what it is to get and be ready? What of the 10 virgins with their lamps? Several were sleeping and hence never trimmed their lamp. But the others prepared. What does that mean? It means that while waiting for their master some put off the preparations while others made daily preparations. And that's where we are. We have so many distractions from what will really get us ready that we put off what we should do to prepare for the return of Jesus. May our daily resolution be to continually prepare for the coming of Christ and not put off our spiritual lives.

Busy as a bee

Being so busy is not important. Being continuously busy, ah that's an issue. I won't say it's hard labor. I don't move boulders or carry 2X4's on my back. But I do supervise and am expected to have answers. And I come home and am expected to have answers. And guess what? Many times I don't. Some things are definite violations of regulations and directives and then decisions are easy. But some times even when looking things up there are grey areas. And guess who bears the brunt of decisions... I am responsible for whatever decision I make.... even if I didn't cause the situation. Or I come in the middle of the situation.

All of us have responsibilities to take. Even if the decisions we make are not reflective of what we can in fact do. We take responsibilities, I have responsibilities for my job, my employees, my home life, and what self-control I exhibit. That self-control comes from God, it is a fruit of the Spirit. How do I partake of it? Prayer consistently, when I am tired, when I am sad, when I am hurting, prayer that God endows me with the strength to hold it together because quite frankly I cannot do it on my own.

My journey

What does it mean to be on a journey? Does it mean walking a path unknown to you and others? Does it mean a well designed way to go and not deviate? Or does it mean to walk with someone that we trust and love because we want to make a way to a certain time or place? The path for me has been following bricks that have been laid by God. I know He knows exactly where I am going. There has to be a modicum, just a modicum, of trust, because God can take me by the hand and lead me into wherever He needs me to reflect His Son, to show His love. May we all strive to be 1 in Him.

When is enough enough

We hear time and time again this is unfair or that is unfair. We see protests and hear words that some people need to change, that there is existence of injustice that shouldn't be. No it shouldn't. Never should have been not in this country. But guess what folks? It's not a perfect world. There is gravity, there is friction, there is pain, and sickness, and sweating and working hard for what seems like nothing. There are people in leadership roles, not just in government but in leadership roles everywhere that don't seem to have a notion of what they are doing and make some pretty unfair decisions. Let's face it, this is called being human. We are all flawed. We make poor decisions. We are unjust. We dislike people and often base our decisions on that dislike. But....and this is big....we have an example of moving on even though there are difficult circumstances. We have Christ. He continued the mission God sent Him on, regardless of the injustice that was dealt Him by the Pharisees and lets face it by a public that demonstrated a now-we-love-you-now-we-don't attitude. He kept healing, He kept teaching, He kept demonstrating the love of God despite the cruelty that He endured.

As should we.

When is enough, enough? When we look at our lives and see injustice. When we see that there are people that are burs in our side, some that would say we don't know what we are doing. Enough is enough folks. Time to grow up. If you claim Christ, don't worry about the injustice that is affecting you...or others. Do your job. Love like God would love. That injustice will always be present. Touch each other's lives in kindness and God-like love and the world will change. You will not change it. God will.

Refreshing

Vacation. Time to take stock of one self. Get things done that quite frankly cannot get done while one is working. Resting, relaxing, trying to regroup for the next round. And then to keep going. Why? Because human beings are relegated to working hard or else being freeloaders and that cannot happen, not very often for survival will that work. But the time to relax and the time to take stock is also the time when nothing gets done, not really done the way you want it done. Until you go on vacation and get it done.

Dreaming

To Sleep Perchance to Dream. Famous words with so much meaning. Hamlet is concerned about his action or inaction based on rest and seems to have concluded that the ultimate rest will come but only after he does his  best to act. God doesn't expect us to wear ourselves down but often we put that on ourselves. May we all be blessed in that knowledge that God loves us for us.

God is love

God loved the Israelites because of who they were. And since God is the same today as He was yesterday and will be the same tomorrow, He also loves me for who I am. What does this mean? Does it mean that He chose me for my good works? No. He created me to do good works this is true, but that's not why He loves me. Does it mean that because I can play the piano, or build furniture, or grow tomatoes He loves me? No. True, He gave me those abilities but He put the talent and feeling in my fingers and heart, He gave me the wisdom to know what goes where, and He caused the increase in veggies and gave  me the wisdom to know how to prune and how to fertilize the plants to grow. So why does God love me? He loves me because I am His artwork, He created my core. He loves me because of me. God is LOVE!

Friends

I love friendship. I treasure it, more than the few relationships I have had while being in love with someone, more than any relationships I treasure friendships. Without friendships, I would have wondered if I mattered to God. Without friendships I would have truly felt abandoned. The relationship I had with my dad in the latter part of his life was a friendship more than being a daughter. My prayer is it is that way for my mom. I have friends that live down the block from me, both that I attend church with as well as knowing from outside circumstances than church. I would do anything for them and they have done all for me, even in rain and snow. This is the true meaning of team. A team is only functional when it works together. And friends do that by the very nature of the word. May God bless all of our friendships.

Sleeping

Why did God invent sleeping? Why couldn't we all be robots to keep going and going and going like the Energizer bunny so we can accomplish what we want to? God didn't need to rest....why do I....if I was created in His image? I really think that's why we need to rest, because He did step back on the 7th day. Because he knew that ever since the fall, things were subject to friction and so parts wear down and need refreshment. That is what rest is for. Personally I look forward to Saturdays to sleep in...because the work week is so long!!! Thank You Father for sleep. Thank You Father for rest.

The Hills are Alive

Autumn leaves make such beautiful colors before falling from branches, whether the trees are tall or small. Crimson, golden, canary yellow, brown, all mixing with the evergreens and sandstone, limestone or whatever colors may permeate rocks in the mountains. Beautiful drives, colors, causing breathtaking steps and drives. What a day it is when the sun is shining, the sky is blue, and the air is crisp and the mountains are proudly displaying trees mingled in the rocks, and wildlife frolicking. Makes me want to jump for joy and break out in song, "The Hills are Alive"

REST

At different points in time I remember stopping all activity just to breath and soak in some much needed R&R. There was after working hard in high school and getting into Tulane. I slept until noon, the longest I've ever slept. Then there was after graduation from Tulane. I put the books up for a while and enjoyed Christmas parties with my parents. (I graduated in December or 1981). Then there was after tutoring a fellow student in the Morehead State University Veterinary Technician program. We pulled an "all nighter" and we were exhausted. It was just before spring break and a friend picked me up at school to take me to the airport in Lexington, KY. But not before I slept on a wonderful feather bed until the Bugs Bunny cartoons were long gone. And this weekend is no exception. resting and not even thinking of work. Everyone needs this from time to time. God took the 7th day to rest and show all that we need this. May we cherish these moments in our life when we rest.

Thinking happy thoughts!!!

Think positively! If you call yourself a Christian and complain 99% of the time can you truly call yourself a Christian. Christ was pure, He walked, He spoke in love. He did not complain when He was hanging on the cross....When He did confront someone it was to make the point to have more faith or more patience. May God always love us and forgive us when we forget the holiest of examples of how to walk.

Peace

We live in a world that turns upside down and downside up every day. Every minute of every hour of every day. We live in a world where we can be peaceful in one second, dealing with a car accident, loss of loved ones or friends, home burglary, insurmountable bills the next. We live in a world that we just don't get, even the best of the brightest don't know what the next idiot's moves are. We live in a world where those who have been put in charge are expected to be equal to those who are their subordinates. And while personally they are, professionally those in leadership are entitled to respect. A world upside down. Christ tells us to submit. We are to submit one to another. And this is the only way to live in this crazy world....to submit.... as a leader we submit by being cordial, respectful of others' opinions, helpful. kind....as a subordinate it means being respectful, cordial, helpful and kind. We all have different roles literally and because of that we must understand that some of us are leaders and some of us are subordinates....and if we don't submit in this earth, we won't submit to God. This earth is practice on how to learn the depths of God's love. Heaven is the real world. Allelelulia!

Awesome God!!!

I guess my first experience with God is the most telling...or I should say the first time I was truly aware of God's awesome grace and power. I was a freshman at Tulane in New Orleans. I had just failed my first General Chem test. And I was desperate. I wanted to  work with animals, maybe even to be a veterinarian. I had to pass Chemistry or else it might curtail my career with animals, whatever that was going to be. I had not accepted Christ yet, even though my parents taught me about God, Being raised Catholic, the best I did was to know about God and what he did in the old testament if His children didn't obey Him. But one thing, I knew how to pray, taught to me by the sweetest of all nuns at the high school I went to, Sr. Cameron. I prayed to God that if He wanted me to be a veterinarian, that I would need to pass Chemistry. Not only did I pass Chemistry, I made an A- in the class. I knew it had to be Him because no way I could do this on my own. So I praise God for the path He put me on, not always smooth, sometimes lonely, always full of adventure. Thank You Father!

Prayer time

Buddhists call it meditation...but that is only one part of pray....the quiet space in your heart where you reach to God and He reaches back. Our hearts love the contact, we know God loves the contact and He actually initiated it in the first place...and regardless of whether it is imploring or pleading or praising God enjoys all of our company and contact. Try it some time. Try being quiet for a little bit concentrating on the love of a God that made us. May He bless us constantly.

Tomato, tomato

If you are like me, mispronunciation of names or words worries you to death, to the point of correcting the speaker, to the point of not liking whatever was said because of it and missing the meaning of the speech rather than understanding the big picture. But we need to realize that God made us unique, and that mistakes that we make in grammar are unique to our decision-making capacities, some which are spot on, some which aren't and need polishing. But it doesn't mean that we are totally wrong, it just means we need perhaps more polishing, more researching, more looking into what is the right way to do things? All of us make mistakes and will only be perfected in Christ. To Him be the glory!!!

In Control

Are you in control of your life? Not really. Things may look like it but guess what. Nothing happens without God knowing what's happening or more actually intervening. We say "How can God be God if He does nothing in such and such a case?" Who are we to tell God what He should do and shouldn't do? Did we create the earth? Did we set the pregnancy of an elephant much less an amoeba? Can we set clouds in the air? God can. And does. And is therefore entitled to our deepest respect.

Rain

Rain is like heat or snow or any other weather. Either you accept it's there for a reason or you absolutely wonder why the weather can't be perfect all the time. How does that show love of God and His power and glory. I am mystified that we have such a God, that His power is not just in His love but is evident within what He created. May we never forgot that God is God almighty!

Being There

We live in a universe where people are bipolar. And use that as an excuse for anger. And use that as an excuse for not doing their job. And finally use that to give into the pain that ensues from depression. We recently saw such pain in Robin Williams, an obviously troubled soul, loved by so many yet convinced that this life was not worth putting up with anymore. Only he and God know why he came to this decision. But we all do that, do we not? Even though we have a decided sphere of people who love us and care for us, we make decisions that say, "Well this life is too hard right now and I cannot handle it". And so we become bingers, either of food, alcohol, sex, whatever is the thing that gives us instant gratification. Jesus turned to God and said "Father please take this away". (my interpretation is that life was becoming a little too hard for him to bear). But then he prayed, "Yet not my will but thine". The only separation we see of Jesus and God and I believe that was to demonstrate to us that yes things will get unbearable, but God will somehow, someway get us through. Thank you God!!!!

School time!

Time to start the learning again. A time to grow. A time to explore. A time to thank God for our many blessings. We love the Father for this opportunity and all the opportunities He gives us. May His blessings never go unthanked.

Time Passes On

Under the clock I sit
And think of times
Times now preserved in my memories
Times that are special
   Just to you and me
Where we shared coffee
And meals
And laughter
And tears

I relied on your strength
And as always you were there
Although I didn’t realize it
You relied on my knowledge, my words
And sometimes I was there for you
And sometimes wasn’t
But you always forgave me when I wasn’t.

My sister, my friend
I thank God
You were and are still there
And that the memories will continue to bloom
And we will always be…
People can sometimes be like light switches. One minute sweet and kind and pleasant. The next mean and unpleasant and hurtful. All of us have been like that...it is why Jesus came, because we need God's grace to make it. We lie, we say mean things, we hurt each other, but God is a wonderful forgiving God, May God always grant us peace and serenity to be like Him. Oh to be like Him....Oh to be like Him...Jesus the Saviour...pure as thou art...

Here comes the rain!

What gorgeous days are those of cloudy skies and misty rain! The soaking rains we had here in July
have made beautiful gardens, wonderful veggies and happy grass. Thanks be to God, the God of all things who loves us enough to give us what we need in such a beautiful package.

Today

Today is the only day we are promised. Tomorrow depends on what we and others do today. Yesterday is gone. Today we make our decisions and if we do not make those decision with priorities in mind we will fall and stumble no matter what our intent. We may still stumble. But if we make our decision with pleasing God in our heart God picks us up dusts us off and then says "Move on, my child". May we always appreciate Him.

Ahhhh summer

Summer... time to get out and about and enjoy what God has made out of what was at the beginning of time chaos and particles. And getting out in nature with beautiful butterflies, pollinating bees, bouncing bunnies and curious deer not to mention the white endless sands of various beaches and the glistening rocks in gurgling streams. Who could ask for more natural beauty? Thank you, God for sharing your love of beautiful things and letting us have hands-on and smells-on.

Freedom

Freedoms are very important to Americans. We celebrate the 4th with fireworks, we make sure that when someone violates our freedoms that we are advocated by a constitutional lawyer, and we make sure that everyone knows about our freedom by using the phrase "I've got my rights!!" Do we ever think about our freedom in Christ? Christ gives us such freedom, greater than governmental or personal freedoms. It's the freedom from sin. Thank you God for your Son who died for me and paid the ultimate sacrifice to free me from the sting of death.

Life is beautiful

Life is beautiful...full of rocks that while they make us stumble are also full of minerals and glistening gems that both sustain us and give us joy and laughter...full of storms that while could be dangerous also give us a sense of peace and cleansing. Friends smiles, hugs from loved ones, and loving words help make life beautiful. The running of a small child with his pup through a field of wild flowers, a cat tussling with a toy mouse, all these things make life wonderful. May God always bless us.

Saturday, June 21, 2014

Day by day....day by day...o dear Lord, three things I pray. To see thee more clearly, follow thee more nearly, love thee more dearly, day by day...

Such beautiful words penned  for such a secular culture. I suspect that while the rest of the world was trying to cope with a resigning president because of a scandal and with the morals going downhill and having just come from the selfishness of  the 1960s, the musical "Godspell" as well as the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" were like a breath of fresh air and offered comfort and solace. May His words always give us solace.

Saturday, June 14, 2014

Thank God for Fathers. thank God for God the Father. God is a wonderful Father, the King and He has made us all His princes and princesses. God's family is so wonderful and He loves us all. May God always bless us in our families and with our Fathers!!!

Flowers

When I was growing up a Catholic, I crowned Mary. It was a statue of Mary but Catholics believe that Mary could be prayed to for intercessory prayer. And every year Mary was crowned, in an event called the "May Crowning". It was an honor as the other kids sang "Mother Mary now we crown thee"...the little white roses crowned her beautifully and we all revered her and her position in God's kingdom. But I think more importantly Jesus is the one that should wear the crown. For He is our savior, king and ruler of all of us. He and He alone should be the one we worship and adore. While Mary played a significant role in the raising of Christ and as one who is without sin or blemish, Jesus was actually the one who was without sin or blemish. He is the reason we can be saved. May we never forget this.

Gorgeous

We in Kentucky are blessed to live in a beautiful part of a beautiful country. It's a simple beauty, greenery in the spring, starkness and white in the winter but nevertheless the land tells of Gods handiwork, that God made this land from nothing so that He could show the beauteousness of what we have on earth was His idea...mostly because as much as we want to we cannot control the weather, the sun, the rotation of the planets. As far down as we can reduce things (quarks or lower) and say that all life can be explained by reducing it to that level, my question is, ok so why is their flesh, blood, bone...why do I have thoughts, what holds all things together? Life is not explained in terms of its smallest quantity, it is explained by what a combination of those quantities forms...something bigger than an atom put all this together...and that something is Father God...

This is the day...

We sing "This is the day, this is the day, that the Lord has made" and I have been really thinking about this. I have a difficult situation at work, a difficult situation at home, my finances (like everyone) are not what they used to be...because,,,, who knows. And yet God made this day. Rain or shine, snow or heat there is beauty no matter what because God's purpose is always good...

JOY

Joy exists even on cloudy days. Even when things are gloomiest. Somehow there is always joy. And why? Because of Christ. Christ's existence makes things brighter and easier to handle. I can see the road in front of me, maybe not way in front of me but at least where each step is falling. Like a candle in a cave, until we get to the end of the cave which over looks green fields and sunshine and whatever else looks beautiful. I love that song based on Lamentations, "The joy of the Lord will bring me strength." May God bless us always with peace and joy.

Church and state

The concept of church and state is not a new one. From ancient times and ancient theocracies that said, "You will believe as the state believes" to even present day where we are afraid to even say a prayer before school or court presiding for fear that is not separation of church and state. We are sooo afraid of offending anyone that we will not even acknowledge the Holy God that exists, not just in my belief, not just in your belief, not just in the Baptist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Catholic, Hindu, Greek Orthodox, or whatever other religion out there. There is always a higher power. There had better be...I hate to think that this life with all the hardships in it is all we get. And that is not what the prayer before school is all about anyway. It's about acknowledging that God is in control of everything, the court, our leadership, our lives. And that there is only one God...

I heard yesterday someone say, "I prayed to God to take my headache away and He didn't. I took an aspirin and it went away." I felt like calling this announcer and saying, "Who provided you with the aspirin? Who provided the scientist with the knowledge to concoct a dram of medicine to get rid of that headache?" We have to stop thinking of God as a prestidigitator. We have to stop thinking of Him as pulling a rabbit out of a hat and realize He is a Holy God. He doesn't answer every prayer the way we like it. He doesn't have to.

Do you believe in one God? James says, "Good, even the demons believe and shudder", (James 2:19)

The Love of God

For all the work and sweat and toil...it won't get us to heaven. For all the heart and pain...nothing can save us but the lifeline of Christ and the lap of God. Relationship with God means realizing we are prince and princesses in His kingdom. May we always know Him and love Him.

Love of my life

God is the love of my life. The Lord loves me more than silver, gold, flowers, lions, tigers or bears, (oh my!). And whenever I complain about things or people in my life there is a deeper nudge that makes me ashamed, because, 1) those people are in my life for His purpose and although I may not realize it I may be the one contact they have to get to know the love of God; 2) I have truly been blessed in dealings with difficult folks, as God has shown me how to talk to them and smile all the while. I truly love God. Because He truly loves us. May God continue to bless us always.

Saturday, April 5, 2014

Difficult people

I have trouble dealing with difficult people. I can state my case all I want, I can show regulations, but the people I deal with just don't want to listen. I think God had that problem and has that problem with us. He stated his case and states His case and loves us all. There are times He has to get rough with us for our own good so that we come back along the right way. He is not talking to hear Himself talk. He is using discipline to bring us back to the right path. For He loves us all. May we listen to Him always.

Hard to choose

Kentucky and Louisville have had a great year. Regardless of whether you are a fan in blue or red you have to admit pride should exist in both programs. Let's not burn down couches and destroy things in celebration. Let's really celebrate!!! This is an enjoyable time. Do something positive to celebrate. Celebrate with a good dinner, celebrate with friends but do something positive. It's less dangerous and less hurtful to others than destroying property.

OOOOPS!!!!

I made a mistake today... not a big mistake in the overall scheme of things but it was a mistake nonetheless. My supervision skills haven't really suffered, but I know that I will have to change some things to make it better or at least to perform a corrective action so that the person I made the mistake with will understand the correct way to record her data. My prayer is that God will open the employee's heart to correction and open my supervisor's heart to understanding. May God help us all to grow...

Lectures

Lectures....lectures....lectures....parents lecture children...employers lecture employees...what is right what is wrong? What is best? When is it the best time? If we are being lectured to, do we want to hear what is being said? If we are the lecturer do we want the receiver to listen and agree with everything we say. I know that no one will accept everything I say. I know that not even close friends will do that and I do not want them to...I want them to process and choose what to accept as a generalized truth and what is not....God knows that there are things I will not agree with but that I will still stand with Him...because He is the All-powerful, all-knowing and all-loving God...Praise Him!!! Don't worry about whether or not you are right or wrong!!! God is the only right being in the universe. Believe and Praise Him!!!

Sleep

Sleep is important. It is to rejuvenate our bodies so they can function properly during the day. It is so that processes in the body can properly accumulate substances and gather things together so that they can function. Mostly so that our brains can stop thinking and slow down so that the information we learned during the day can actually be processed into what makes sense to us. Without proper rest we will short out, malfunction and possible die, It was designed like that. God is a great designer and knows more about us than we will ever know. May God bless us in all things!!!

Being Christ-like

Hi everyone!!! What is Christ but our example of how to get along and yet how to tell the truth even if He was called a liar and a fraud! I have been called a liar, unjustly. And yet Christ is there to say "Lydia, don't you think I and God know the truth?" May we always remember the love that God has always shown us.

To Live and Love

Living is more than just existing. Those that live can look at life and say whatever happens is OK. And those that just exist are weary and say "I have bad luck". Nothing is worse that people that mope and are depressed. But then again we all get like that. Even Jeremiah, who penned the words "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases", said "Woe, woe" and held his head. It is not our task to not have broken hearts. What matters is as the song says, "Smile though your heart is breaking". Can we do that? Or are we "Woe is me" 24 hours a day? May God bless us with hope of a better existence that is coming.

Help!

Emergencies happen everyday, more than we think they do. We could trip over ordinary extension cords that may come in our path; we could bump into the corner of a wall; we could even mistake something in the middle of the night and trip into or over something, But fortunately there is help...other kind souls, friends, family but most important God gives us instincts that we can use or choose not to use to go along a particular path that is not for us. May God bless us all with wisdom to follow those small pricks or nudges He gives to go a certain way.

Wintertime

Over the snow? I know that I think it is really pretty but I am over not being able to get to various plants because of the roads. I am over the really really cold weather. The kind that makes your hands ache. But I am not over the quietness, the white beauty of God's palette. I'm not over the slowness that God really wants us to enjoy. May God bless you always!!!

How do we lead?

There are questions that come into play which come into any leader selection. We want someone to help us, we want someone with smarts to deal with people that they come into contact with and we want someone to treat us with kindness and fairness. The key to this is love and heart. We may be looking for the good talker but deep down we really want someone to show care for us. This is so whether it is president, chairman of the board, manager or spiritual leader. And because we are human that goes by the way-side and we want charisma and charm and flamboyance never mind caring for us. God is a God that wants fairness and that looks on someone who cares for his people no matter the level as something to smile on. He loves us. And loves all of us. Enough to want us that once we are in a group we can also lead with care and fairness. May we strive to have and be leaders the way God wants us to be.

MORE SNOW!!!

While we are blanketed by the field of white, we are comfortable, some of us. Others of us are not but there are those who have risen to the occasion to help some of those not so fortunate. My prayer is that we look not to times of dire need to reach out and touch everyone. And that we grow in Him to spread His love to everyone. And enjoy the snow...

Saturday, January 18, 2014

SNOW!!!

It's snowing and the blanket is beautiful. Such a wonderful time. It is a time to relax, build snow men, make snow angels... drink hot cocoa...and don't worry about going anywhere. Because that was the intent of snow and seasons. There is a season for everything and they didn't appear after Adam and Eve ate the apple. God made seasons so that there would be a time of planting, a time of growth, a time of harvest and a time of rest while the bulbs and seeds are getting ready to sprout. What a wonderful God we serve!!!

What a year!!!

Who knows what the new year will hold? Will it be one that at the end of the year we say, "Whew I am glad to see this year go"? Will it be one in which we say, "Wow I could not have had a better year"? Would it surprise you to see that all years have good and bad? Any year you live through has issues but it also has blessings if you can look past the issues. Any year has milestones, as well as stumbling blocks. I for one am looking for the challenges and holding to the truth of being in God's hands, holding on tight and waiting to see what God has in mind.

Resolution

People make resolutions for everything. Resolutions to lose weight. To be a better person. To work harder. To exercise more. Jesus resolved to finish His mission according to God's will....and that was not just a New Year's resolution that disappears when the going gets tough... When the going got really tough during His temptation He answered Satan with the Holy Scriptures. When the going got excruciating He prayed to God to do not His (Jesus') will but His (God's) will...and prayed for the forgiveness of those that were persecuting Him...and again recited Holy Scripture, "Why have you forsaken me?" He knew Whose He was and so the resolution to finish the mission for which He was put on earth involved those responses. But He prayed constantly, believed that the minutest details were important to God, and loved thoroughly...God loved us the same way... a promise is a promise...a resolution is not meant to be frivolous...it's meant to be resolved. Finished. Completed.
