When life is fun

I frequently watch my cat Henry play with his circular scratching post circumscribed by a ball inside of an open tube. He chases and chases that ball trying to figure out how to remove it from the tube, which of course he can't. And I laugh because he will twist and turn and run around that tube batting at the ball and flip over and finally stop and stare at it for a little bit before batting it again. How much like that are human when confronted with situations they cannot get out of? We chase those results or events and chase and chase and turn and flip around finally stopping until we chase those events again. When living peacefully and understanding there are things we are not going to be able to understand/do/avoid so the key is to look to God and ask for His wisdom. And His presence will give us strength if we promise to be His.
